She highlighted the efforts by African and less developed G20 member countries to ensure that digital connectivity reaches all citizens. Jordan-Dyani was speaking at the Digital Economy Working Group of the G20 in Polokwane, Limpopo province.
"The continent is actually coming out very strong, as well as underdeveloped nations, to say we also want this equitable thing. That’s where you start to see tough issues with regard to the economic interests of different parties. But what we are all concerned about is to ensure there is capacity building by all, that we create these toolkits, that we create a framework," she said.
