The United Nations (UN) Rights Commission has denounced violence targeting the opposition by Malawi's ruling Democratic Progressive Party DPP and attacks against persons with albinism as the country heads towards watershed tripartite elections on May 21 2019.
In a statement, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights says it is concerned that so far no one has been brought to justice for any of the series of politically-motivated attacks that have been taking place since last year.
