Entering the entertainment industry in 2010, the brand Pebetsi Mataila has grown to become a household name.

She started out in radio, became a seasoned professional actor with her leading role in the acclaimed SABC 1 soapie Skeem Saam, a couple of short films and came full circle with her now weekend day time radio show on Channel News Afrika, all the while pursuing more acting roles. She marks all these events as the milestones of the beginning of her career as she has more to offer.

She prides herself in being the best role model she can be and frequently sets aside time to give motivational talks to young children -with her focus being on young black girls from previously disadvantaged communities.
