She is also a television producer, presenter and actress.
In 2017 Puleng was awarded an honorary SAFTA award for the strides she has made in the media industry as a person with albinism.
Puleng holds an Honours in BA Dramatic Arts from Wits University.
In 2014 she joined the SABC as a freelance producer and presenter of a current affairs show titled Bophelong.
Apart from her on-air traits, she hosts seminars to engage the media on its role in protecting the rights of people with albinism.
