Thabo Matshaka began his media career as a radio broadcaster at Nkqubela Community Radio in Gqeberha in 2004.

He started working as a Saturday Breakfast Show host and later moved to weekday Breakfast Show host.

In 2007 he joined CKI FM (now Tru FM), SABC’s youth radio station as a weekend show presenter.

Thabo holds a certificate in Radio Station Management from the Institute of Advanced Journalism as well as Training the Trainer Certificate from the same institution.

In 2012 he joined Rainbow FM as Afternoon Drive time host and the Saturday Top 20 countdown. In 2019 he was nominated by the Liberty Radio Awards for the Rainbow FM Top 20.

Thabo is a sought-after MC and has hosted several corporate, gospel and book launch events. He is passionate about radio and television presenting as well as public speaking, motivational speaking, and media training.
