The South African (SA) lender Capitec Bank, opens new tab reported on Wednesday a 30% rise in annual profit as net interest income grew by double digits.
Capitec, one of the fastest growing banks in SA.
The bank is targeting low-income earners and it said that headline earnings, a key metric in SA, for the year ending February 28 rose to $738.14 million, compared to $572 million a year ago.
