The event, co-hosted by Standard Bank, Old Mutual, Union Bank of Switzerland, and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, aims to highlight the potential of SA institutions and listed companies.

According to the hosts, the conference has drawn significant attention due to SA’s new Government of National Unity and its expected impact on fiscal and policy direction.

Under the theme “Advancing SA’s Structural Reforms for Infrastructure Development,” the event will feature discussions on the country’s monetary and fiscal policies, infrastructure development strategies, and progress on reforms, with a focus on energy and logistics.

Attendees will include Reserve Bank Governor Lesetja Kganyago, Minister of Electricity and Energy Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, and Minister of Agriculture John Steenhuisen.

Chief Executive Officers from 19 listed SA companies are also participating, along with a video address from President Cyril Ramaphosa.
