Barrick mining reopens Bamako Office under interim administration

Malian tax officials have reopened Barrick Mining's office in the capital Bamako under new interim administration after it was shut in mid-April over alleged non-payment of taxes amid a dispute over mining revenues.

Two people close to the matter said.

Spokesperson for Barrick and for Mali's mines Ministry did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
