The country faces significant challenges across various sectors, including water, energy, healthcare, education, agriculture, housing, unemployment, safety, transportation, and rural development.
WIB Group, an award-winning organisation, has committed to focusing entirely on creating innovative solutions that can help SA overcome these difficulties.
The company highlights that SA faces unique challenges not seen in other countries, requiring tailored solutions that could be applied across the African continent.
A recent example of this commitment is the launch of an Integrated Patient Queue Management System (IPQM) in partnership with Gauteng, SA’s most populous province. This system aims to improve patient flow and service delivery in healthcare facilities by reducing wait times and enhancing operational efficiency.
It includes features like online queue tracking, short message service reminders, and real-time reporting, benefiting patients like Thandeka Sonandi, who praised the system for its speed and convenience.
"I really liked it, I found it was quicker and easier. You receive a text on your phone with your number in the queue, and then you are called to pick up your medication. I think it's incredibly efficient."
Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko, Gauteng MEC for Health and Wellness, officially inaugurated the IPQM at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic in late November.
WIB Group is now preparing to expand its reach to Polokwane with the upcoming launch of a service delivery app, allowing residents to report issues like potholes and power outages directly to the municipality.
Polokwane’s Executive Mayor, Makoro John Mpe, says the system will impact how citizens interact with their municipality.
Chief Executive Officer ,Thandile Fikeni emphasised the group's commitment to providing world-class, efficient solutions to address SA's distinct challenges.
"We develop world class solutions, innovative and distinctly able to address the unique challenges, while creating shared value for our clients and their customers through improved efficiencies empowered by our technology," Fikeni said.
