This as today marks the official launch of two new online platforms aimed at boosting the SA's manufacturing and connecting buyers directly to homegrown products and producers.
This initiative ‘Shop Proudly SA’ is already active and offering more than 1 700 locally made items to consumers.
This will allow SA made goods to step into the digital spotlight with a little help from government.
Losi says they support the support initiative as organised labour
“It is great to see the fruition of what we fought for as organised labour. It is good for us to be part of this journey. And see when government listens, we can be able to shift the narrative.
And also, to make SA great. So, we are here to give support to Proudly SA. And also, to say we are grateful to the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition. Let's work together to build a better SA.”
