The Paris prosecutor's office has closed a case filed by Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) accusing Apple subsidiaries in France of using conflict minerals in its supply chain.
This is according to a document seen by Reuters this Thursday.
The case centered on the allegation that Apple sourced minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold from regions tied to severe human rights violations and armed conflict in the DRC.
