The event, which lasts four days, aims to showcase the technology of the future and address various issues such as energy and health solutions.

The participants are students and alumni from different universities and provinces in SA, as well as from other BRICS nations.

Mapula Ncanywa, the Chairperson of the BRICS Business Council Skills Working Group, said that the young people are eager to win the top medals and demonstrate their talents.

"We have a strong delegation coming from University of Johannesburg and those young people are also alumnis from there. They want to clinch the top medals too, We have a delegations from the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Johannebsurg, Pretoria. We have about 8 provinces represented all of teh young people range from their last year of studies at various institutions," she said.
