The border was re-opened on Friday afternoon after it had been closed for days following violent protests in Maputo and other cities in that country.
Thousands of opposition supporters took to the streets to express their dissatisfaction after the ruling party, Frelimo, was declared winner of the October election.
The situation is calm in Mozambique, at the moment.The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has called an extraordinary summit to discuss the post-election crisis in Mozambique.
The summit will be held in Harare from November 16.
